Clocksmith
A downloadable game
You're now the proud owner of a SpargoWare™ Clock-Picking Kit!
- Use the Playdate's crank to move your clock's arms to match the given time.
- Try to crack as many clocks as you can before time runs out!
No physical Playdate? No problem!
Clocksmith can be side-loaded on the Playdate handheld or played on the Playdate Simulator with a USB controller! USB controllers default to using the right stick to emulate the crank, but controls are remappable.
How to Play
- Use the d-pad to change the active clock hand
- Crank to rotate the active clock hand
a friendly tip from your friends at SpargoWare™! - this clock-picking kit is designed for function and fun by emulating some of the logic of a real clock; if you're having trouble scoring big, try remembering this: anywhere between the 3 and 4 will count as 3 for your hour hand, meaning you don't need to be pin-point accurate in order to match the correct time. Focus on precision with your minute hand instead, but as soon as you hear the clock unlock, be sure you're ready to keep cracking!

looks awesome!
Thank you!
I was so confused at first, then it accidently unlocked. It seems like the hour moving clockwise, and the minute moving counterclockwise worked best...? My high score is 6 though. I love the concept and the card art!
I tend to use that method when I play, too! Remember that (like a real clock), the hour hand does not need to be precisely on the number for it to count towards an unlock; you'll need to be more precise with the minute hand. Use this info to your advantage to see if you set up scores more quickly! I'm really glad you like it so far!
